My fursona design has darker colors which help gives off a more sneaky look to them. It also makes the design more mean-looking, but the personality is the complete opposite

Exactly! pulling the rug out from under the viewer by using colors opposite to the characters nature is a great and fun way to suprise people!

I hope you had a nice rest. Now you can be at your very best. Red is for heart in someones chest. I hope your ready to digest. With this I jest. I hope all is well at your nest. There are all ways people to caressed. To make sure to be back at your best. On that note colors means alot to show how your feeling at a time. Clothing on such fursona can be how you feel at the time. The fur can be a base line of core characteristics or favorite color. Clothing is some thing that is not permanent and can go for a theme or how you feel at a time. Some may not know this but I feel I ad something not just a rhyme if you don't mind at this time.

I've been working on my persona for years and am truly happy with her now. She is a chubby brown fur wolf-dog with a pink heart in her hair rainbow tail, small rainbow music note tattoo on her right ear ( her left is a pointy ear ) she did have colour paw pads but plan to change them to a more natural colour, blue eyes like mine and a scar on her right knee because I have scars so hers represent mine. It took me a long time to find the perfect shade of brown for her fur. I went with a pink heart instead of red because it looks better on her. Red is my favourite colour but I want her to look her best after all lol

It's the most SUPERIOR color" I like the the more technical/psychological approach you took to this, not just identifying that colors incite different emotional and cognitive responses, but actually giving real world examples. My fursona’s species is going to be a sort of nocturnal Insect-bat. So I’m struggling with color choices, but- I’m thinking a white fur color for purity, purple accent for loyalty, and finally gold jewelry for deceit and also happiness. I’d love to get some ideas ;w;

i think that sounds great! I used to see alot of white bats when i would go exploring caves as a kid, i suggest playing with tones, tints, and shades till the colors blend well. Id also use the purple on parts that i want the viewer to focus on (eyes, important features, ect)

My fursona is a bat cat mix and he’s mostly different shades of grey except for his eyes which are a nice warm yellow becuase I also appear pretty plain on the outside but I’m pretty energetic once you get to know me. This is shown by the yellow eyes which symbolizes happiness and energy. the eyes are the windows to the soul after all!

i've been working on my fursona for a while now, and i'm going with all primary colors! (yellow, red and blue!) she's supposed to be a stuffed animal that came to life, so it gives her a fun kid-core kinda vibe!

This may have been nine months ago, but my new fursona, aka my second one, has the coolers salmon, pastel red, yellow, orange, red, light yellow, and light orange, I wanted them to be a little hotheaded, but also what you said about yellow and orange, life of the party or whatnot. (I kinda forgot it lol) They have axolotal frills, horns, fur, and claws on feet and hands, and a spiked color. I’ll update this! If anyone has any suggestions on anything, powers, add ons, lore, or anything like that, I’m open! Stay safe y’all! Edit: I added four greys to their color scheme! I’ll update y’all soon! Edit 2: I figured out a species and fursona name! Species: grandalor (grand-a-ler) name: dejay (Dee-Jay or deh-Jay) and I added a halo on their left horn! Edit 3: so, I ditched on of the oranges, and replaced it with a pink, and added a small pink heart on its head! A little accent to help its character design! The orange looked to weird. 👍

Helllloooo, my fursona is a kangaroo and his name is Cooper. His base color is grey but he has lots of different shapes, with different colors, and his eyes are a bright yellow. He gives friendly clown vibes, and he just looks to innocent to have done anything bad. Oh yeah, he also has heart nipples 😅😅😅 And a one, rainbow leg warmer on his left leg/foot (and he’s on my channel’s community post in case you want to check him out) 🙂

This is because culturally, red is seen as the colour of fortune and prosperity, and what is more prosperous than seeing the stocks go up? So, I'd say that the choice is less human instinct, but more the result of culture of the designers.
