Normaly not a problem. I do pitch up my tents alone, it takes maybe 5min longer.

You have to put the pole in its position on one side, walk to the other side and carefully and constantly (so that is does not slip out on the other side) push the pole in its form and fix it. It can get a little difficult, if the outer tent is not evenly stretched across the pole, that you to do this by hand.
