On thinkorswim there is the option to set a trailing stop order with a price trigger. Have you found a way to do this in E*TRADE? For example. If a stock is trading at $15.00, you set a trailing stop order for -$0.50 but only trigger this order once the price reached $18.00.

I don't see the % trailing stop and I have the updated version. Could it be a setting I have to change?

Very helpful, question: say for example I buy a stock for $5 I want to setup up an order that stops out if it drops to $4 but also sells if goes to $6, how do I setup that order? Thanks in advance!

I've only tried trailing stops in an etrade paper account. For some reason I have never seen it fill. I'm confident that I'm setting it up correctly and thought it was a bug in paper trading. Has anyone else seen this? Anyone have issues getting it to fill in a real account?

I was wondering the same thing. I don't think you can, I just tried, and my trail stop did not fill. It's like OCO orders are the best for power Etrade. The only downside is you can't get maximum profits. Set the % you're willing to lose or make, and that's it.
