our bikes were provided by Royal Enfield . But Royal Enfield do you have recognised approved rental dealers if you look on their website. That’s the best place to look for verified rentals.

We had planned driving from Delhi on rented bikes. The renting place said that we would need to leave the bikes in Leh and rent locally. We changed plans and flew into Leh (and rented local bikes). When we left Leh, there really was a check of the bikes.

I have seen adds for something called e-sim, it's supposed to be world wide and when you getto where youneed it, it activates automatically.

None of those work in Ladakh due to security reasons. Only local sims work there

This is true and e-sim companys like EasySim do work worldwide with some limits - India is very strict with their cell phones and local sims are required to buy with a passport

I must admit, using of pre-used blankets is not hygiene & may spread skin diseases in contact. Hence, I strongly recommend you to buy a cotton *Single bed cover or bed sheet* & use it as an inner lining of the used blanket & wash it afterwards escaping infection problems. *Happy riding* *Keep smiling remain blessed*

@TheGirlOnABike I did some studying. 1) In Himalayan region due to global warming many glaciers are melting faster than calculated, causing a water crisis. 2) Unplanned habitation adds a huge burden upon already stressed water management system. 3) Illegal deforestation also causing landslides & land loosing it's ability to retain water. I am sure while riding you had the misfortune of witnessing all these vices yourself. Very sad. *Happy Biking* *Keep smiling remain blessed*
