How to Plant Florida Wildflower Seeds in the Ground

Can you cover it with mulch after? Like 1 or 2 inches? I worry about my wildflower bed getting too hot and losing water over the summer and also weed control.

Wildflower seeds like to be planted in bare soil. After planting you can cover with a very light layer of mulch, so the seeds can still germinate and come up. Once the seeds are 2" inches tall or more you can add a little more mulch and you can continue to add more mulch as the plants grow.
