Thanks for the chart @ 4:54. I've not planted an official SFG yet...though I have come close by using an earlier version of his book I bought years ago at a garage sale w/o knowing much about SFG. Hugely useful process. I used DIY Berkley hot composted soil instead along with other natural fertilizers ( wood ash etc etc). That was the best, most productive garden I have ever planted. Have since moved from that 1/4 acre location and gave away all the soil and the raised beds before moving. I so miss those raised beds. Next hope to do an official SFG. thx x2

Can u please teach me how to grow lavender and rosemary from seed? I live in Cali, we have been having 40-50 deg nights and 70+ days, hardly/no rain at all. I have been trying for 2 years and nothing comes up. I don’t use heat pads or grow lights. I grow them outdoors. Thank you and more power and hope to you from the bottom of my heart ♥️

We've had the complete opposite! I'm just finishing up older videos but as soon as I can start growing this year I'll try to do Lavender and rosemary for you. :)

Considering that everyone has now been ordered to stay indoors you should do a video on the best vegetables and fruits to grow indoors. It would come in handy right now.
@wandajuul51503 жыл бұрын
Most fruits and vegetables are very difficult to grow indoors because they require pollination to produce the fruits. Maybe lettuces, but haven't heard much about doing it.
@mooncatandberyl53723 жыл бұрын
@@wandajuul5150 some plants can be pollinated indoors by hand, either tapping with your hand, using the vibrations from an electric toothbrush or using a soft bristled brush such as a new/clean make up brush. you also need to keep them on a south facing windowsill so they get at least 6 hours of DIRECT sunlight a day, difficult when you live in a small 1 bed flat. peppers, tomatoes n herbs can be grown and pollinated indoors, and others. window sills are very narrow, but putting a narrow table or two infront of window sill provides some extra space.
@lavatube80603 жыл бұрын
@@mooncatandberyl5372 , thank you for mentioning the vibration toothbrush method. I had read about that 6 months ago and had completely forgot about it and was ready to give up trying indoor gardening. Thank you! 😊
