I'm coming back into the game since taking a break right before Links were introduced. I'm actually pretty impressed with how much value is in the Zombie Horde deck. I'm going all in on zombies now.

Please do!!! There are quite a few varieties of Zombies out there too if you wanna dabble into them! A versatile anti-meta strategy if I ever saw one, imho. Some examples: -"Pure" Doomking-Zombie World Turbo; basically as shown by DAD, also one of the more "consistent" varieties. Built with the grind game in mind. -Shiranui Variant; ZW (Zombie World) engine + Shiranui Zombies; Shiranui like to be banished; needs a bit of finesse to pilot (still struggle with them) -Vampire Variant; REALLY like this variant, though slightly underpowered (the vampires are obviously inspired by Castlevania). ZW Engine + Vampire Engine. Will suggest Beatrice as an added tech, as this xyz monster can act as a Foolish Burial so log as it has material to detach. The more "combo-y" "pure" zombie deck. -Vendread Variant; Not too familiar with it, but Ritual-based zombies whose lore and artwork are inspired by Biohazard (Resident Evil) games. A more casual variant. -Skull Servant; VERY casual, kinda slow, and struggles with lack of re-prints, but fun to play with in a relaxed setting. -Zombie Shaddolls; a little bricky, but basically you have the ZW Engine, and a small-ish Shaddoll Engine that gives you access to monsters like Construct, Shekhinaga, and floodgates like Winda. Became even more accessible with the Shaddoll Structure Deck, which is great value for what it offers (Shaddolls plus really good staple cards like Super Polymerization). -Zombie "Combo"; aggressive aggro play on turn 1, but fragile if hit with enough disruptions. Also much pricier due to cards like Halqifibrax, Masquerena, Linkross, Danger! Engine, etc. Also utilizes a lot of tuners and extenders. The channel Crush Cards shows what it can do, and you end up with multiple disruptions in Turn 1. I remember consistently ending on ZW, Masquerena (Disruption, possibly go into Apollousa for 2-4 monster negates next turn due to Masquerena's effect), Vampire Sucker w/ Doomking in GY (Card advantage plus 2 disruptions next turn), and Ark of the Herald Light (1 OMNI-negate)

@@nemo0036 personally, I started of as the yugioh fan that loved Yami Bakura and the Pumpking/Dark Castke deck. Eventually I was the destiny hero fan, then I was a huge Earthbound Immortals fan. I fell out of the game around Zexal and then came beck with Arc-V. I loved that entire series

@@chrisgarrett3395 I actually liked that occult aspect of Bakura! Granted, I was more of a Mako Tsunami fan oddly enough. Then, having fallen off after GX, I became a Batteryman fan. Cheap and aggressive! Less than a year ago, I got back into Yugioh again, and it was ZOMBIES that got me back. Zombies have always been a favourite of mine, but it was a SLOW burn over several years before I actually invested in the archetype. I swear, if Bones ever plays Zombies irl, it would be a Zombie World/Doomking turbo deck like DAD's. Heck, it could even be the aggro version I mentioned, considering the kid tends to use non-zombie monsters as well... before he turns them into zombies.

@@nemo0036 I really want to get back into Yugioh but where I live the local play groups for all these TCGs are just way too toxic. I like casual play, seeing different play styles and themes. Once it starts getting way too cutthroat and competitive I have to get some distance from it.

@@chrisgarrett3395 As for me, I am neck-deep in MTG (Magic the Gathering) territory, so live YGO is basically non-existent. So I make do with apps like EDOPro by Project Ignis. I would suggest it, as you have people ranging from casual to meta players over there. OR Duelling Book, but the controls are al manual, so kinda clunky. My personal rule for myself is always: play only cards I actually own. Keeps me from getting used to cards I couldn't afford irl.

Loved the video! Always been a zombie player. Stopped playing yugioh as they introduced xyz and this year I came back when I found out of the zombie world deck. Love how Balerdroch made zombies competitive ,they deserved attention :)

I hate going second with Zombies. Especially since I'm trying to bring out DKB and control the board early.

I use a maykashi version of it and going second is the only way 😂

@@zeroking6444 bruhhh especially if you're playing Mayakashi you'll want to go first. They haven't any protection from disruption. Normal Hajin, effect of Hajin activate to special, they'll drop either an ash or an imperm on it. Activate Mayakashi Return, bring out Yuki. Yuki effect activates specials herself to send one card deck to grave. Necroworld Banshee effect banish herself to activate Zombie World directly from deck. Assuming ZWorld's already on field, she'll send glow up bloom instead. Glow up bloom effect banish to bring Balerdroch, special Balerdroch. Link Yuki and Hajin for the Link 2 Yuki. Pass turn. That's the typical opening play for Mayakashi going first when your opponent has disruptions in hand. What are you gonna do going second your opponent has their board established with 5 plus negates plus a few solemns? C'mon now bro, this isn't the animë. You have to be able to go first with Zombies.

And in his example, the ash is negated by called from the opponent xD But I like this Deck, nice video

I think there should be a needfiber and a linkoubo in this deck. In my deck i could end with a board vamp sucker, doomking and needfiber. And on my opponent's turn ill sync for formula synchron and doomking to have sunsaga on the field.
