When playing gt5, the "generic usb game-pad" only needs calibration and nothing more. Of course that's after launching the game, pause and go to gamepad settings then calibrate.

i have a cheap quantum gamepad but i want to set its reaction in such a way that whenever i tap the left analog stick (directional movement) to go LEFT, the ‘UP’ key is too sensitive and sometimes it makes my character go UP-LEFT whereas i only want to go left. I downloaded x360ce software. i have read about dead zones but they are used to set the sensitivity nearby centre point. I want to set the sensitivity such that the controller does not input UP to a certain point on the LEFT analog stick. Is there a way to do that, or am i missing something obvious because i think there should be an option to do something like that.

Thnx Man, But I Use a PS2 Adapter and when i open the older version of x360ce it shows both of my Controller as connected but I have only connected a single controller. Moreover my controller 1 isnt working, yet the controller 2 is working At the highest watermark. And When in-game i.e. GTA V only the last buttons are working i.e. L1 L2 etc. and no other button is working and i did calibrate. Please Help!
