Output slice transformation resolution W/H = EDID output screen resolution W/H ÷ Composition resolution W/H * Input slice resolution W/H
Note:- This formula applies for only one EDID screen situation.

Yes, it's sync starting always. If you have a same duration videos ending also sync each other but you have to trigger by COLUMN.

You have to need some one Visualize software and DMX input hardware for the connection with Mini Pearl 1024 to Visualizer (Computer).
