What ampa do u use for your hendrix stuff?
@Ron-rl4dq7 ай бұрын
I like that you always play in your home ambient, not in a room full of marshals head and gears and so. Your ambient is clear, minimalist and beautiful. Just ypu and the beautiful stratocaster

Dude, you are obviously an incredibly gifted guitar player, but also, you are an incredibly gifted teacher. We almost never find one person who can do both, but man, you do it! Also, you can clearly sing as well, though you don't really emphasize this. The triple whammy!!!

I like the way you get on with it and play, letting your fingers do the talking. One of the best tutorials on KZbin.

Awesome lesson. Simple chords that you can make sound so interesting. Thanks for posting this lesson.

Hi Pilgrim, this is a 'hidden gem' of a tutorial. 'Your Hendrix' goes deep into the musicality. So much to use more widely. Thank you. Nice to see the white 'Strat back...

There are some good (excellent) guitar KZbinrs out there but the more I watch your videos the more I tend to think you just might be the best. Thank you for putting forth the time and effort. Yours truly, a subscriber. sw P.S, I'm still working on the Little Richard Lucille lesson and trying to sound as "raunchy" as you. Thanks again.

Here's the best part, as a guy who has been strumming for 50 years (I'm 63) - None of this "put your middle finger on the third fret of the top string....".

Thanks for the video.. I’m sure that you already know this but that song was pieced together from several unfinished reels of tapes after his death. Mitch Mitchell had a challenge recording the drums for it in the studio after Jimi died, He especially struggled with hearing Jimi’s vocals knowing that Jimi was already gone

This is really useful, even though I don't have enormously-long Hendrix-type thumbs. Love your playing and encouraging attitude.

You never ever hear anyone playing anything like this in a guitar shop... that's because they can't and just play super fast lead which is easy and boring!!!
