Custom servers exist, but some players might not feel comfortable jailbreaking their PS3 or it might be owned by a family member. RPCS3 requires a having a good PC. This method is an alternative way to play your favorite levels.

@@CactusDaNnJr Yeah it works with LBP1. It should work with LBP3, but dynamic thermometer levels can't be downloaded.

Any way to upload/share levels that were made after servers shutdown with a normal PS3, a PC, and USB drive?

Yeah. On your moon you would choose a level and press "back up". Then you would go to saved data utility and copy it to a USB drive. From there you could put the USB drive into your computer and send the level file to friends or wherever.

@@AfroSackGPPlays Yeah, but I knew someone who could convert PS4 levels to PS3, so I imagine vice versa would be possible. If an easy-to-follow method of conversion is released, it would be a game changer.
