Oh and I also had quite a journey finding my preffered position too My position evolution went like this: CF (false 9) RB CB RB LW CDM RB CAM CF CM RM (my final and preffered position) I kept going for that fullback position but later on when my coach started putting me as a CM, I combined the fact that I like playing on the right and it was a perfect decision, now I'm and effective midfielder that can also play on the positions I tried before so I am very useful I just gotta wait so the older, better and more experienced players get a move to the Junior squad (16-20 yo) They are 15 currently, not much waiting left

You have no idea how inspiring this comment is to me! I just joined a new team with a pretty big roster. On my other team, I was one of the best players on the field. But now I’m 14 and playing with 15 and 16 year olds, and we will be playing against 17 and 18 year olds. Anyways, I’m one of the worst players on the field now, at least I feel like it since I feel a bit lost. The coaches stuck me in center mid and I had no idea about what I was doing during the scrimmage, and all these girls overpower me. I guess that this should’ve been expected since I joined to learn and get better by playing with better girls, but I’m hoping to earn my spot in the starting 11 with lots of hard work as well! :)

I am a sophomore and I missed the tryouts so I had to be placed in a trash B team( i shouldv made the sophomore team or JV) but I played two games and scored 4 goals then the sophomore coach said he wants me to play for him and I obviously accepted but now he won’t play me in LW cuz the team already has 4 forwards, so far I played 3 games with ZERO goals and 1 assist. I play in midfield so it’s harder because it’s just too much pressure to lose possession. But I am als trying to learn ways to cope with that lol to score a hattrick soon and get back my scoring self

i used to be the starting winger for my team back when i played on the B team. i thought i would be promoted to the first team next season but i wasnt, so i had to fill in the gap for the promoted players. my coach trained me to play as a CAM and i got promoted the same season, and i still play CAM to this day.

I love this, I had to watch it again after a long time and I understand it like my language. In a game you will always find yourself in other players positions because they might join the attack or follow their pass or run after the person they're marking, so a good player has to know how to play in each position.

My team always ask me to play CAM however my 2 CM not good enough so im always have to drop down to do their job.. Sometimes its frustrated coz im less helping on the attcking since i drop frequently drop down to help defending. But im l the most trusted CM so collect the ball from the defenders and i have to do for attacking. I really2 want to keep playing between opponent defenders and build up attacking above our half space my two CM partner dont really help much

I am a CAM but I add a lot of flair to my game, I think it's fine as long as as you pick your moments and you know when to play the ball and when to release the ball. this will be the difference between being an ineffective CAM or an Effective one. Eriksen has flair, but he rarely shows it since he picks his moments. ⚽⚽

Sometimes not checking to the ball is ok too, which is what barcelona did in the iniesta days. Sometimes occupying the a space holds players in position instead of checking to a space and have the defense follow you

I normally play an 8 in your staff team (where I usually dictate the our play by calming/attacking/make wingers play and normally would make lots of pre-assist plays), but yesterday somehow I exchanged positions with our new player to play a 10. Guess what (I assisted 2 and scored 2 in our 4-4 draw match against another department). Our coach thought I play better at number 10 position. So I came here today to learn more tips on this position. My strength is I create to many passing options to my teammates. Which players do you recommend I should watch more often ?

If you are good when it comes to shots from outside the box too, then you should go for the CAM. If not, try CM and CDM in several occasions until you find what fits you the most. :)

I used to be a striker got 25 goals in 15 games but then i broke my foot. When i came back from injury i was too afraid to shoot because im right footed and i broke my left foot so i thought i would break it again if i tried shooting so i morphed into a cam because instead of shooting i would pass and i figured out im good at passing and last season i got most assists in the league (22) with 5 goals (i started shooting again).

@@uafa140 Play for you not to show off to others, you going to have to try ignore them and it seems you need to improve your basic skills a lot to catch up, you can do this solo in your back garden or something there many youtube tutorials, and playing 4v4 and 5v5 is great because u get more of the ball and helps you in intense situations, it just going to take time. And with your shooting and passing its more technique, and to see timing and space you need experience with players you play with and game experience, also try to always scan the pitch. Also if you are not confident believe in yourself try to not over think and be aggressive and out work players on the pitch.
