don't rush it. you have a few seconds before the reset expires. also, you don't have to kill people with your ult, you just have to kill them within a couple seconds after using it to get the reset. if you hit people with the mark above their heads i think it executes them and gives you a reset though. the biggest thing is just to take your time and pay attention to your surroundings so that you don't get your jump blocked by terrain when you're going up or coming down.
