Yessss. Blitz Bowl is amazing. Small, Short, and you can get a whole league in a box and see which team gets to the top with a buddy. Super fun, super easy to play. Pro tip: You can just make cutouts or coins with a label on them to represent some models for teams not modeled in the box, but have cards for rules.

I have the ultimate edition with the humans and skaven. Is this Orcs and Dwarves version a new edition? I'm a bit confused.

Yes - > 1. Mark Rule changed: Now you have to stop as soon as you enter the control zone of a player 2. Throwing teammates: Now you can also target a square with a player of the other coach to smash or crunch this player. The thrown player is injured in that case 3. 4 new team cards: Vampires, Gnomes, Norse and Amazons are now included 4. Several small team changes: There are some minor and some major changes in the team sheets. Elven Union are extremely dangerous pass players now. Orcs armor is reduced a little and their mosha blocker got more aggressive. Also not every Runner and Thrower have the same ability anymore but some have a unique ability. For example the Runner of the Dark Elves now has Dump Off instead of Safe Hands. When a block against him is announced he can interrupt the block, execute a short throw and then the block continues. Or the Thrower of the Nobles can do a free short throw after a run and so on 5. Emergency reserve isn't mandatory anymore 6. The Keyword "immediately" does not exist anymore. Some cards still use it but it is not defined in the rulebook anymore. So when for example Headbutt says "After a run action followed by a mark action this player can immediately execute a free Bock action" then this means before executing the block action the coach can claim a challenge card, since immediately has only the meaning that you cannot save the free action for later

A bit disappointing I can't get this in my country - I will have to send a message to my partner's cousin who married an American to see if they can get ahold of this for me. I have been a huge Blood Bowl fan since I came into miniature gaming.

Will they have expansions for other teams in Blitz Bowl? If not, then this game is a hard sell.

It appears there are two editions of this, this one with dwarf and orc teams, then another with human and skaven. You can also pick up full Blood Bowl teams and split them with a friend, since there should generally be enough for two Blitz Bowl squads in every Blood Bowl box.

There are 24 team rosters in the box. The minis are literally just blood bowl minis, which are widely available, even from third parties. At the time of release every team, including gnomes are included .... perhaps they could expand with Chaos Dwarfs, Tomb Kings .... etc.
