Very nice! Out or all the "instructional" videos I've seen (complete with wrong notes, licks, and even keys), yours is by far the best. Thank you.

+LearnTheHarmonica.com I've been listening to Little Walter and Paul Butterfield's version, playing it back on my own, but it wasn't until I stumbled on your site where you broke it down that I'm really starting to get it. What a revelation.

@Learntheharmonica8 жыл бұрын
+Michael Ziegler Hi Michael, there's a great backing track website specifically for blues harp at www.bluesharptracks.com. I think they have one for this track. Well worth buying as they're super accurate. Hope this helps! Liam

I'm getting a lot better with blues harmonica.But for some reason I just can't get tongue blocking down I'm learning octaves but tongue blocking to me is confusing.People love my playing they sing and dance when they hear me some give me money they say"Man you're good"I lip purse with two or three note chords and true I be jamming but I can't tongue block can I get away with lip pursing?Will tongue blocking ever come?Thank you!
@Learntheharmonica5 жыл бұрын
Hey Steven, if people are giving you money then you must be doing something right! If you really want to get tongue blocking mastered, I have a whole course on it here: sellfy.com/p/AYnR/. Cheers! Liam

I think at 14:10 the notes are actually 3D-4D-3D-5D, not 3D-4D-5B-5D. He definitely goes down on the 3rd note, not up. Slight difference, but more unique. (More dramatic, also). Typical Walter!

Thanks for the comment Ed. He's so hard to follow! Not just technically, but just because he doesn't go where you expect. That's why he's the king! Cheers, Liam

This guy needs to learn how to play single notes like Little Water not Bob Dylan
