Unfortunately the sabotage angle is kind of wasted. The players with poisonous plants in their gardens can purchase the poisonous path card. So in the end, you've actually helped them. It would be more interesting if it wasn't so easy to totally reverse.

Question: if the event card makes player lose a crew card, but the player does not have one in their play area, is that negative effect forfeited?

I'm also curious to know. So far we've played with ignoring the penalties in such a case but I'm unsure this is the correct way as there are some other instances where if you cannot perform the penalty you need to give up something else, such as coins.

If a card instructs you to lose something that you do not possess then you simply lose nothing.

I'm curious when you can 'press' specimens. Only when you acquire a new one, when you transfer to estate, and/or any time?

Rules clarification, please. When you go into the estate, do you only end the movement phase of the turn or the entire turn altogether? Also, do I still gain estate income while I move into the estate?

Movement phase. And yes, everything else goes as normal, including income.

If an event card instructs you to gain coin, does this coin go in your expedition fund or estate income?

I would think expedition since you have to deposit to the estate when you're there.. unless the card says something about the estate perhaps.

Can anyone explain how the land/sea event resolutions work? Are sea events resolved only when the character who draws them on a sea location? Couldn't find an explanation anywhere in the manual...😵🤔🧐

The sea/land part of the event matter for some crew or character abilities, such as giving you +1 to all sea rolls
