great little workout!! Small observation; it's pretty easy to get a speed-changer app which can actually change Key (e.g. from C to Bb to B etc.) so these workouts could be used in all keys if they where available in MP3 (rather than just the backing!). Thanks.
@OnlineSaxAcademy3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Lionel, you can download this as an MP3 from the link in description. Also, I will be releasing this workout with PDFs and MP3s transposed in all 12 keys soon.

Great lesson! I'm confused by your terminology, however. The "G Major Blues Scale?" Is this the pentatonic scale with a b3rd added? Same thing?

That’s correct!

One question, if someone plays a solo on the alto saxophone and I want to transcribe it on the tenor saxophone (i.e. learn by ear), does it become more difficult or is it then impossible?
@OnlineSaxAcademy Жыл бұрын
It’s definitely not impossible, it may be more difficult, depending on what is played. You may find you need to put some phrases down an octave, but other than that it should be fine.

A beginner's question, sorry if it's stupid but is the sheet music you sent me written in concert pitch C or already transposed for sax?
@OnlineSaxAcademy3 жыл бұрын
The sheet music is written for alto and tenor sax, if you’re playing alto you want the music that starts on G. Tenor starts on C.
