I played with my ps4 controller for a week and used just the screen for a week. Screen aim is better. Both need practice but screen aim is like using a mouse it's very precise the advantage in aiming will be using the screen. But for quick up close combat the controller wins simply because hitting flippers and buttons to do things like slide or swap weapons is easier to master and faster. My next test will be the 6 finger controller looked like the best of both worlds.

They said its too unbalanced of some use the controller and some don't. It would be like a PC on mouse and keyboard against a console player on controller, the mouse and keyboard would destroy them.. Yet the new cod allows this, so makes you wonder why they actually took it out!!

Travelling Kev in the new game the way crossplay works is that it pairs you up according to input ( controller, K&M ). Unlike COD Mobile witch is strictly a mobile game, maybe they didn’t bother to implement crossplay because it was never meant to be played on any other device. There for the feature that separates controller players and touch screen players is not available in the game (yet) so it would make sense as to why they disabled support for it. Hopefully they can implement it in the future, unless they want it to be a strictly mobile game ( touch screen only )

I agree that just using your fingers is still the best way to go. I’ve tried a controller too and it glitches out from time to time, sometimes, the sync throws you off so it’s not real time and so on and so forth. With touch, you got total control over everything. No slow down, real time, and just plain reliable.

I've been playing call of duty black ops on ps4 for 5 months, I tried the mobile version but my claw skills aren't that good anymore, so putting back the controller support to the game might help those players who are used to playing games with controller :D
