I think that the perception of canoneer by the community is WAYYY worse than the truth. It‘s just that canoneer is a completely different playstyle, which differs a ton when compared to princess tower, so these clips of stuff that the princess tower can do that canoneer can‘t make him seem like the worst card ever, which isn‘t necessarily true. It‘s just different from the norm everyone got used to over the span of 7 YEARS! So seeing a split scarmy take out a tower looks so cursed you just think that canoneer is extremely bad in any situation. Now I’m not saying that he‘s stronger than the princess tower, but he also isn’t the worst card ever.

Problem is, they balanced all the cards taking into account princess towers and now with cannoneer everything is different, so you get more from 1-2-3 elixir cards than from 4+ ones. That's not balanced at all.

I think they should give him the same amount of HP as a princess tower, most of his positive interactions don't matter because the HP he "doesn't lose" is not compensated due to the princess tower having a bigger max health.

No , it's balanced like rn, it can defend some 3 to 5 elixir troops left alone that would get at least 1 hit or more. It is worth the price. However I would give 3% more dmg.

Canoneer is now playable. There are already decks that play around the weaknesses and use its strengths. It does not need a buff imo, although the princess is way more useful in most decks.

I kinda think that snowball will be better over log in your canoneer deck. It may help do things like fully counter the musketeers and other non-fireballies since it'll slow them down and help the canoneer take his second shot to hopefully kill

Cannoneer is underrated. Graveyard should be good against a cannoneer. Even if opponents got splashers, it's not a bad idea to use graveyard to tank for your tanks through cannoneer

Cannoneer needs lots of splash to work properly. That means stuff like Executioner and Bowler.

I played with this deck, and it's actually pretty good the main reason why cause fisherman like stops from hitting evety win condition and it has swarm counter, but i think they need buff canoneer hp, cause that is so stupid

I've only pulled cannoneer from a tower troop chest once because it's like a rare, and because of this it's like locked at level 9 and i can't really take advantage of its damage yet lol

Question.. if one player has princess and another has cannoneer. And both players do nothing until the tiebreaker, does the princess player win? I assume yes, but it's funny to think if neither player ever touched the other's towers the cannoneer loses by default because of the reduced health.

You are getting more damage and a higher first attack speed, nullifying a sizeable amount of cards at the cost of health and attack speed. It doesn’t need more health JUST because some players don’t prepare for swarm cards. A different type of tower constitutes a different playstyle and random buffs to the new thing shouldn’t be forked over.
