I married twice. At the first wedding I had “here cones the bride” and purely by luck the county’s most famous concert pianist, known throughout the world, was playing in the church, something he did at times for free. Now the family of my husband was very much posh, everything should cost a fortune and you should show all your bling to the entire world. Me and my husband was very very young and also extremely poor students, but I never forgot their faces after the ceremony when we stood outside the church and this famous pianist came out, congratulated us and walked away. Their jaws just dropped because they thought we had hired him. Of course we did not deny it. 😂 Twenty years later I married my second husband as the first turned out to be an abusive bag of turd. We had Canon in D on organ and trumpet and it was magnificent! The way it filled that small ancient stone church from 1700 was magic! It was also the start of the wedding of the century (according to all the guess) and a good relationship and marriage. There are many ways to enter the church and I find it beautiful that many choose different things. It is the privilege you have as a couple to choose the first setting around your union. Should she enter quietly like the summer wind, with a pop song dancing, or choose something very regal? It is the moment you always will remember, it is when years of planning, excitement and nervousness come together and you walk towards your life partner to make a life long commitment. So choose wisely. 😊

Awesome, love this simplified version, thanks. Bars 13 to 20 are my favourite part. I am also learning the (much more difficult) Lee Galloway arrangement but bizarrely these bars aren't included in his arrangement and the bit before the "famous bit" is a little different. I have an orchestral recording and these 8 bars are included, so it's nothing to do with this being a simplified version. Can anybody tell me why the Lee Galloway version is different in this regard? I find it puzzling and am perplexed by the difference... and wish the bars were included!
