This game is alive and well. Community is playing non stop in EU time from morning to over midnight. So many of us are there in fact that servers tend to crash in top points. Rankeds are not new people friendly and people tend to leave matches, but its worth your time with HD mod and HotA..

I dunno why I'm watching this, I never heard about HoA till now, but hell, now i wanna play again. More like, I want the good old days when 3-4 of us besieged single PC with crate of beers and booze and just played till morning [max AI, take em down first, then fight each other, XXLmap, no water, sometimes underground] and then just continue next day [playing and drinkin]. BTW love your accent, kinda funny how u make some words sounds rather different. Nice job, GGs, great to see ppl still playing today.

@Lexiav, any play to create a guide about hero chaining? Like, what should you do with your main, 1st side, 2nd side... in the first day, second day.... and explain the logic behind it - how should the heroes be spread out? how much distance is optimal between them? how should you move the army? This would be really useful, because it is one thing to see you do it and it is another recreating it in the game. (And another video could deal with AI behavior and optimizing your army's layout - like, for kiting)

Hi Lexiav! Great guide here, thanks for that. I have a question tho... Is there a way to change Jebus Cross template just regarding starting terrain? It seems that the creator made it that starting terrain is ALWAYS town specific. If you choose or get to play, say, Fortress you start in a fre...in SWAMP! It is really annoying and cripples gameplay... It sux too for choosing/getting Cove, also SWAMP, then Tower, where you start in SNOW... Is there a way to change it, that no matter the starting town players is, he/she ALWAYS start on GRASS? Thanks!

It's one of the most useful and cheap tactics that helps an insane amount, there are a few reasons, but mostly to take retalation/meat shield/block shooter.

Well he did answer this on the video but to answer it again it is for scouting, gathering resources and transfering armies to important places. I am not really familiar with the game and it was quite apparent when you actually watch the whole thing.

The reason they go for so mant heroes is chaining armies wich means swapping units from hero to hero so that you can go a week's worth of movement in one turn and also scouting around. He plays some 1 hero only games in multiplayer too though.
