loved the video,! I used to be very into latin jazz playing the sax and went to a summer camp where I met Candido! Now while I'm learning guitar I looked up latin jazz and Candido and found that he started music learning the tres with his dad and was a professional tres player before getting really into the congos and drum innovations! I'll add more as I go, but i love the dancing continuous harmonies played on the tres!

Really enjoying your lessons Michael. Unlike some other gringo treseros on youtube, I can really hear the clave internalized in everything you play. Its very intentional. I've heard some other guys outline F7 instead of F△ every few times.. nice little reharm that sounds good to my ears with that halfstep movement from the b7 to the 5 of Gm.

Hi Michael, Thanks much for tutorial. It very well explain the song. Your performance of song 20 Anos is unbelievable beautiful. Harmony between guitar and tres is at its best. Would it be possible to do tutorial on 20 Anos as well for both guitar and tres as they simply can't go one without the other. Thanks much again!

It might make the most sense to have a one hour lesson together and I write it or dictate it to you while checking out your technique, etc. One hour is 50 euros. I'd probably charge about the same to write it all out.
