A good not true combo I’ve been using is side b, short hop neutral b, up b. It works 80% of the time and it’s an easy 50% at the start of the game

Great video, I learned a good amount. At around 60ish I think sour spot up air to down air is true, and if you can get the sweet spot, it will end in a spike.

@@jalphasmash4176 I’m not sure how successful it is, I labbed it and it is true. However, I’m not sure how practical it would be, I don’t have experience doing falling up air to finishing touch. Maybe you could weigh in on that. I just feel like at 60 people are shaking in their seats because of bair so I’d assume they’d be shielding plus it’s not a normal short hop it’s delayed up air. I think you’d get slapped into next week out of it. I guess you could condition them with grabs to spot dodge so they’d think you’re gonna tomahawk, thoughts?

Unfortunately some combos will not work on shorter characters, but that’s ok. Overall Cloud is a solid high tier with amazing pressure and a hellish advantage state. That’s why he is my main! :)

Love the vid. Sephiroth coming out has motivated me to pick up cloud again for those iconic fights. And maybe he might get some buffs in the coming patch. Preferably longer limit and better grab speed and throws

I think a lot of people feel the same way after seeing the reveal trailer. Those would all be welcomed buffs for me, maybe even giving him a few true combos out of throws 👀 but that’s wishful things on my part. Happy you enjoyed the video 😁

This isn’t true with cloud but you could down throw and follow up with d tilt and follow up with some up tilts and up airs to rack up a bit of damage

Pikachu guide bro please!!! I want to pick him up but all the other guides are rediculously confusing. For example IzawSmash's went over difficult topics without thoroughly explaining them and ESAM talked way to fast in his guides. I really think you could make a good guide that a lot of people enjoy. I know that talking positively about your character is more constructive than focusing on the negatives, but i think should outline the shortcomings of the character you demonstrate, knowing strictly what to avoid is equally as helpful

Thanks for the guide. I think I’ve finally settled on cloud as my alt main. The bair combos look like they’ve been removed or nerfed. I have no time to connect the dair :( double fair is still true at least (and easy).

For example, the combo Fair + Side B, I've always 1+5 and not 6 combos. Is there a frame or a timing to start Side B during the end of Fair's animation ? (sorry for my english, french here, I hope you will understand my ask ^^)

Hi! Glad you like the video so far 😄 it’s all about timing your fair correctly. If you do it early you won’t get the fully combo. It’s a little tricky but you’ll eventually get a feel for it 😁

Just to add insult to injury, I'm pretty sure Cloud has the worsed standing grab in the whole game. Yes, even worse than Ice Climbers

Expect when ice climbers get a grab, they usually take the whole stock 😅

It still works, it’s just crazy specific. Between the damage, weight of opponent, etc it’s a lil difficult to time. You still should be able to do it though 😁

Yo did they nerf cloud? When I do fair it doesn’t do 17 dmg it does 16.8. Fair into limit cross slash does 48 dmg not 50.4

Hi! I try to do fair right before I hit the ground while also trying to connect the final frames of the sword swing. If you get the start up frames, it won’t read it as true. Focus more on the timing of fair is what I’m trying to say😄

How about Fair -> Dilt -> Dair -> SideB? You could Also tech chase with another Dilt into Up Air and finally Side B. I just did it in training mode, might not work in an actual game cause of DI and such Btw 👇 God LOVES YOU so MUCH that he sent his only son to die in YOUR PLACE so you won't have to die under Gods judgment but live forever IF you fully trust in Jesus Repent from thinking wickedness!!
