before anyone brings it up, I really screwed up the scores at the end. I also forgot to count the additional points for Heat Vision, which should have been 3 points rather than -1. This means the REAL final score in this fake game is Wendy: 18 to Bendy: 9. Wendy still wins regardless but if anyone cares that is technically the correct score

For your cards in your trait pile. Instead of putting them up the top card. If you slide them a bit under, you can see all your points. (bottom bits) Probably could put your world end cards at the bottom. But that is probably what your preferred play style is.

yeah I've done both ways, guess I was just putting my Traits down that way without thinking about it much. It's mostly just personal preference but it does make it easier for other players to see your scores too

@@BendyDH When people want to steal a card, It will probably be easier if you can see all the scores. But if they play vampyrism, they probably want a good action with it..

I just played my first game. Was wondering if you played denial and the 3rd catastrophe comes up does it cancel the worlds end effect or no.

So Denial is a little vague, but the effects of Denial only apply to the player who played it. Therefore if you play Denial on the Worlds End the End of the World still happens but the effect of the catastrophe doesn’t apply to just you, while hitting all other players normally.

1 more correction: You have 4 colors and colorless. You can't choose colorless for a color. For the rest: nice basic video.

yeah, probably could've made a note saying that you can't select colorless as a "Choose A Color" effect. Either way, I plan to get into more details about things in upcoming videos, this one was just to cover the basics of playing the game for somebody who just bought a box at Target 10mins ago

@@BendyDH Yea, there are quite some disputes/card interactions that are sometimes a bit vague. and also the easy way to bring in house rules. I think You did not mention that the discard pile is face up (but it's shown in video) But at our home we did find it more interesting to play discard pile face down. Cards like: trunk Are you willing to take the unknown top card of the discard pile, Etc.

@@BendyDH also I think the dealer is just there for the setup. After that you just have: first player Because people stabilize themself. It's not that you get a card like poker all the time.

@@keesjrR true, I just feel like "Dealer" makes more sense as an explanation, since technically they're supposed to be the one to flip the Ages over. I was hoping to make it as simple to explain as possible because honestly I think the Catastrophe shifting the 1st player to the left is the most confusing aspect of the game, especially at first

@@BendyDH At our home we also change the first player at the last catastrophe. (Because rules say: when drawn) While you don't have turns anymore. It's just for the world end trait card that go in turn order. Viral Vs faith. It matters who has to go first. As long as you are consistent in how you play it out... But with the playtesting . They just went with: game ended, no more normal turns. So no first player change for world end cards...
