I think that it’s completely fine that they’re reusing animations and assets because 1. It cuts down development cost which is no small part in how they’re able to make a risky game like this, 2. It’s not extremely jarring because there are also plenty of unique animations and assets so it doesn’t feel too much like a pure copy-paste, and 3. They’re trying to appeal to a different market other than DragonBall and Fighting Game fans, so a lot of players that they’re aiming for won’t even know that some of the animations/assets are reused, so it won’t even feel slightly jarring to them

From what I can tell even with the power of Z Fighters you are nowhere near as strong as the real ones. Even if we can gang up on Cell with Piccolo squad should we just feed him more people to kill and go Perfect? I do see a transformation tab but I doubt we'd be able to fight toe to toe with the Villain directly. In Friday the 13th for example you can kill Jason, but even if you have all the right stuff he can still kick your ass. You probably can win with help but throwing hands with them by yourself is ill advised. I think it generally follows the style of Friday The 13th and Dead by Daylight with some Xenoverse Elements when you Transform but even that is temporary. Even if you could, Cell for example could just steal your wish go to Perfect and then everyone is fucked.

Everyone is calling it a DBD copy, but I honestly like the gameplay more from what I've seen. It's a lot faster in terms of movement and actions, the solo vs team interaction is more dynamic(in DBD, if you get seen, you're good as hooked unless you're up against a beginner killer), and you aren't sitting around as much waiting for reaction checks - the latter being the main thing that drives me away from DBD. All in all, the gameplay looks a lot less stiff than DBD. You can also beat the Raider's ass if they aren't careful, which is a huge plus for me. "Horror"(this game isn't at all meant to be horror, don't get me wrong) games where you can turn the tides, even for a little bit, through outplaying the opposition have always been my favorites of the genre.

I know people are saying "Dead by Daylight clone" but imo it seems that you can do a HELL of a lot more stuff in this game as a Survivor compared to DBD. There's plenty to look out for, AND PLUS it's DIFFERENT THAN ANY DB GAME TO DATE. I hope this game does well, I'm excited for a DB game that isn't just beating up everyone...I like that, don't get me wrong but I appreciate them trying new things

They should of gone with a intense horror theme, no OG dragon ball gags. Bc when Cell was killing people there wasn't "Look at me dance I found a key." That shit wasn't colorful, the tone made everything dark. Dimps legit too scared to get a rating above Teen. DB has so many bloody moments and absolutely zero of their games actually showed the gore. Why make a like this so light hearted. In the anime bodies were dropping and the whole world was in terrior. Cells was a horrifying monster slaughtering every single person hunting them down. Like what was saw with the Guard in the building, it was tense, and there was even a small jumpscare(kinda). Dimps just doesn't generally understand the darker side of dragon ball or they choose to completely ignore it.
