You're the rare breed of a great guitar player who's also a very patient teacher. No matter how tough a solo is, I always get the feeling that it's possible whenever you're teaching it. I have two requests actually: 1) A redo of the ridiculous solo from "Afterlife" 2) For you and your family to have a Happy Holiday season and a fantastic new year!

TheGuitar Person Afterlife is nothing compared to this 😂
@justinbowen11834 жыл бұрын
Afterlife is honestly pretty simple, just take it a section at a time. It toon me a couple years to get it up to speed. Use that metronome and don't go fast with learning. Get the muscle memory for it and try to take it slow.

I'm a bit late to the party but THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for this video. You helped me so much with it. I never would've thought that I'll be playing this riff this fast already. You break it down into very easy understandable steps. Without you, I'm not sure if I would've learned this. I really had trouble following tabs for some reason. Now I'm practising this at 90% speed to 100% to a metronome after some runs. Keep the amazing work up!

Hey Chris, question. Why reach for the 15 with the pinky instead of barring with 1st finger on 10? Same with the run starting 16-11 instead of 16 on 2nd and 15th on 3rd? Is there an advantage to the long stretch ? Thanks and awesome vids. Cheers
