Fluxx can be so confusing because it is different from any other card Game, so I have had to play it alone on an app because my friends don't want to learn, and I am not good at explaining games to others. You make it sound simple. But it’s not :( Incomprehensible and frustrating “game”. Don’t attempt unless you’re playing with experienced players

I think to simplify it. it's draw a card. play a card. follow whatever the current rule is. it seemed more complicated because he listed various scenarios that may or may not be going on. just focus on the current rules during the round and what they say to do. and be mindful that as you try to win that may change
