Pierre, these videos are very good. If I were to make one suggestion: play the sections at regular speed as well for demonstration purposes. There are I'm sure musicians who would view your videos who are are more advanced, and this way your audience will be expanded.
@pierrejpiscitelli9 күн бұрын
Sometimes I can't play the whole piece up front due to copyright restrictions. It's ridiculous, but true. In that case, I try to demonstrate each section as I go, which I think is what I did here?

Thank you Pierre, this is great. For me, practising Georgy Porgy (and Keep Forgetting, and Rosanna, ...) with left hand bass is really helpful to have better hand independency and to play real tightly and with feel. I have done my own arrangement with left hand bass and am pleased to see that it is almost identical to yours - but you heard some of the chords in the last part chords correctly, which I didn't. thanks for that!

hi Pierre, I wanted to say that your tutorials are absolutely amazing. I play in a band myself and your videos are a huge help for me. I was wondering if you might consider doing a tutorial for Runaway by Bon Jovi because there doesn’t seem to be a good tutorial for it on KZbin. It would be awesome.

Yet another amazing video. I'd just add that in the pre-chorus one might add that counter-melody (which is maybe a flute and trumpet in unison?) with the right hand (the E G A B) and so maybe better to keep right hand in that position.

Hello Pierre Thousand thanks for your vidéos.... i like so much, and i appreciate your positioning, it's the reason why i subscribed. One question : Why did'nt you show the chords as usual ? as in previous vidéos ... Bye Chris
@pierrejpiscitelli9 күн бұрын
Great question! This is a fairly specific piano part that shouldn’t be summarized only with chord symbols. In other words, the identity of the chord changes almost every 16th note as the two handed pattern is changing, so it didn’t make sense for me to throw in tons of chord symbols. It’s better to learn the exact part!

The Rhodes has gone up in value over the past decade or so. A D50 however can still be had for not too much money. The plugins for both are so good these days that you don’t need any of them really!

Hi Pierre Great song, I’ve jammed with song for years I think originally I read the sheet music There is a song which I would love you to teach I can’t seem to obtain the sheet music anywhere It is Level 42s Leaving me now There is a great keyboard hook that Mike Lindup plays at the end of the song If you listen to the song you’ll go yep, that’s great To be honest I don’t know if that run that is played is even in print I would love to read it, learn it It would have to be taught/shown by a teacher like yourself Anyway greetings from New Zealand, Steve. Love your channel man On KZbin there is a clip from luke48 worth seeing Recommend reading He plays it
