TheAntiParadox You can be 24 when you first touch a guitar and be a professional. And it depends on the learner for how long it would take. But don't worry, it will be frustrating at times, don't give up Me being 12 and a beginner, I always keep that in mind.

+TheAntiParadox Although starting on any instrument young really does help, it's all about the practice you put in. If you practice 30 minutes a day that's great. If you practice 2 hours a day that's even better. If you practice more than that than that's even better. Everyone learns at their own pace, there is no definite time for how long it will take you. All I know is the more you play the faster you will get better. Just don't give up. Also practice isn't playing things you already know practice is playing the difficult, hella annoying stuff that makes you want to throw your instrument out a window. Don't give up and work at it.
