Well explained. Obviously not the only version or way to play, but definitely quickly and concisely gives the fundamentals.

We have read every version of the rules for Hand & Foot we can find and this is the first time we've ever seen all players able to play any meld on the table. This is also the only version that does not have minimum book requirements to end the round. Also, you play with one more deck of cards than players so you can play up to 8 players. This is a very standard rule. This is a strange way to play the game for sure.

Hundred percent agree. Though it’s been over 20 years since I played as a child, everything was right on point until the whole playing off of someone else’s deck. And I also thought that you possibly had a mixed meld if you had mix of red and black colored cards and not just using a joker card

My sisters and their friends play this game for hours at least once a week. To me it is a stupid game that I would never play although I like other card games like Rook and poker.
