i started playing violin when i was around 7-8, you can say i played well, until i totally stopped when i was 13 and totally forget all the techniques, notes and just everything about violin. & years later, my friend force me to play it for like a formal party at my uni. i wasn’t that prepared to perform so it wasn’t that impressive i guess. then i realized, that i totally waste my time, my talent during those years i stop learning violin. but right now, during my summer break, i start to learn again from the basic and i found your chanel. so thank you so much 😭❤️

Hi Ruba, thank you so much! I think about changing the camera angle a little bit of the bow arm, because to me it wasn't as clear as I wanted yet - what do you think? Maybe a little bit more from the side, so you can see better on which string I pay. I recommend to practice like this: first learn all notes (really slowly, without a metronome). If you can play all notes (and in best case memorized them), try to learn to play along with my slow backing track. If you are able to play along with the slow backing track in perfect rhythm, I recommend trying to play a little bit faster every day, until you can play the fast tempo. What don't you understand about the metronome? Might make a video about it

I started with it today and I thought it will be hard but no..It's even easier than the godfather -your tutorial on the piece-..of course I made mistakes but not as bad as I imagined! I do understand what the metronome does..it helps with counting..one beat half ..quarter etc? How to set the the speed? What is the speed I relation to tempo? The song has one SHARP and is in E MINOR not G major. Yes, they both have 1 sharp but the song ends with an E note and the whole tonalization is in E minor, not G major. Thanks :)

Gotta admit, this tutorial is better, as in it's more detailed, witty and funny in a way. *Loved the sleeping in between playing part BTW* Also a new intro, no offence but I liked the older intro more. Also I found an easy version of Thais : meditation on musescore, if i give you the link can you help with that pls. Mostly shifting positions and higher notes are a problem. Thanks 😊

Agreed it's a long piece, and you're right it's tough too. Just a suggestion, you can break it into a 2 video tutorial, play the first half and keep the 2nd half for another video. But you're the expert here, won't argue further, you know what's best for your subscribers. I can almost play it, but i'm happy with what i've achieved
