Fellow PSTV user, I was surprised to see that annoying "featured" page flash past at 8:18. Highly recommend you look into deleting it unless you like it for some reason. Short version is - Run "VitaRW", then open vitashell and go to "vs0:/app/" and delete or backup/rename (if you ever wanted it put back) the "NPSX10102" folder. Reboot and you'll never have to scroll past that annoying page again! More detailed guide found at psx-place

you should've done the automatic install first. i did the manual install, and the vita wouldn't boot and i freaked out. already had autoplugin 2 installed. much easier process. for anyone with a vitathat gets stuck at the hencore logo. hold the power down until it finally turns off. then turn back on and hold the left bumper button. then just use vitashell to remove the line you added. anyway appreciate the video, the automatic install section helped and lets me play games i couldnt play

Hi Mr Mario excellent video i just have a problem some of my games dosent boot up just stay at the first image and when i close it and i try to open another app just frezzes so i try to turn off the vita and i cant so i need to press the power button for 15 secs until the recovery screen shows so i can rebbot is there any fix to it ?

Mr.mario thank you for ur awesome tutorial, sorry abt my english. im from the philippines.. i currently installed the 0syscall6, and im using pstv ver3.60 henkaku and enso. im succeedes in running latest games like deadbolt also but my problem is the patch or the latest updates in the game cannot download, when i click the yellow circle button on top of live area of the game for update, nothing happens. if im playing the game and back on the home screen, the notif says, "The update file has been downloaded, Do u want to close and perform update?" then i click yes. then nothing happens again. whats wrong with that? i already check the tai under uro, and the txt for 0syscall under kernell is already written..

Hey I tried this method and I still cant make it work, plus rather than the warning you get from trying to start the game on your video. I instead get a warning telling me to update to a higher firmware

You might have a tai folder in ux0? If so you should only have a tai folder and configuration in ur0.

@@MrMario2011 thank you for responding but I found the solution, I didn't think that spoofing was important, but I found that was the reason I kept getting firmware update notifications when attempting to play the games. Once that was done, everything worked

It allowed me to download 0syscall6 but not ref00d through autoplugin 2

That's fine, 0syscall6 is the better option.

So what exactly does this do that is better than ref00d? Ref00d seems to have no problems with playing even the latest PS Vita games released.

0syscall6 works on the fringe cases that won't work with reF00D. If reF00D works fine for you, no need to update.

Do i put the game into the app folder in ur0? Where the 0syscall6 files are? Or do i put the game into the app folder in ux0 where there is no Osyscall6 files. Please help thanks :)

The lower the better for the most part. 3.60 has best compatibility, is easiest to set up, and doesn't require any sort of PSN access.
