What i like about your lessons is that you don't only nail the songs and teach them in detail, but also at the beginning you go over the song in normal speed, so people that was only looking for the chords and didn't need too much detail don't have to check the whole video only to figure out the only one chord they don't know.. That's nice

I don't mean to bug you or anything but it would be awesome if you could do a lesson on the finger picking at the beginning of the song. I could try to figure it out on my own, but that could take forever. Plus you're just so good. Thanks.

ngl learning from this tutorial gave me a whole new perspective on this song, i came into this thinking it would be easy because it sounds so simple if you're just listening to it but theres so many intricacies that its more difficult than alot of the rock songs that i learned. im also trying to learn how to play it without a pick so theres that... im a lefty so holding anything in my right and being able to use it as a tool at the same time is basically impossible. i also learned how to play from a guy who's played standard all his life so that just means i play right handed without the use of a pick cuz i cant play lefty and i cant use a pick in my right, probably would be easier if i used a pick but even just trying to play it without one has slowed my typing speed so yay
@paganathiest63493 жыл бұрын
little update, learned a variation that i can play fingered style picking and actually its so far from the original i might actually feel comfortable using it in a piece of my own, which really is the only reason im learning other pieces is to start actually doing hat i've wanted to do and make a song that i think people would actually listen to. of course i dont support plagiarism but getting inspiration from other artists i feel is the whole art of music, and art in general, taking inspiration not only from your environment but also other artists and having it be enjoyable enough for other people to want to experience it.

Thank Marty

@Jozzel10112 жыл бұрын
ya I know it seems that way but he's doing the same thing slow as fast. The best way to get the strum pattern up to speed is to play using a metronome. Set it to a slow speed then do the strumming till you got it right then turn the metronome up a notch, then play till you got it then up another notch and so forth. It may take a few weeks or even months but keep using the metronome and you will see results.
