I just started learning to play the piano today just for the heck of it. I saw a video by WIRE about Harmonization in music and I was intrigued. I ordered an electric keyboard and this is the first video I came across about how to play the piano. OH MY GOODNESS. This amazing! I'm stunned how much freedom a pianist has to jazz up his own tune. I always thought that pianists were just forced to memorise sheets of notes and today I learned how wrong I was. Thank you for uploading this video.

at 4:32, what you are doing is called a 'grace note'. you would find that a lot in gospel, jazz, gospel jazz and genres like that.
