All of Andy's Christmas song arrangements are brilliant. ( and challenging ) This is a great addition with it's Celtic flavour.

Such a gorgeous tune - xmas album purchased to help support you. Now I've learned a ton from Andy's lessons, but I had to chuckle on the first travis pick part where you said "...and we're just going to start playing the melody..." I was worried it was going to be harder than that! ;)

I just love and appreciate your lessons so much ~ so very well thought out, always very clear, easy to follow and fun. Would love a lesson for The Holly and the Ivy ~ when you have time! Thanks for considering.

While I don't play the guitar, I do love listening to your playing. Your Christmas song sounds like it has some Irish influence and of course, it sounds great.

That right there is real purty. Travis picking is easy, Andy, 10 or 12 years steady practice, piece of cake!
@RayC2342 жыл бұрын
Travis picking can be tricky but you'll get it with practice. First Travis Picking song I learned was Dear Prudence and it took me a couple of weeks just to get the picking down. But I'll admit this appears to be a little more difficult.

Hi Andy. Heard you're not doing too great at the moment. Hope to have you back in the saddle soon. You are a fine teacher and such pleasant company of an evening when the family are away to bed and I can get my guitar out. Wishing you good health sir. Oh and I made a donation too yesterday. Everyone should if they are getting something from these tutorials. C'mon loyal subscribers! If Andy can't work just now he can't earn so I'm sure even the smallest of donations would be welcome
