That looks as thought its going to be great. I love the green guitar Shame I only have a les paul style guitar with no whammy bar

That is one tasty solo. Thanks so much for all you do, man. As hard as it is to learn all these solos and licks, it's probably no picnic either to break things down so that even a goober like me can at least pretend to play guitar. The fact that you're giving all these awesome lessons for free is super cool.

Very nice. Although I only recently found out it's actually a keyboard solo!

I saw in an interview where Brian May stated that the synth solo was actually overdubbed with a Fender Strat.
@markturton78055 жыл бұрын
I believe it was recorded initially on guitar and reamped thru a synth
@jca1113 жыл бұрын
Yeah - it was a Synth Solo played by Fred Mandel. Bri. did a close approximation live however.

Chris first time I've seen a video of yours and I'm loving it. This seems to be a simple solo but the nuances are what make it unique. Thanks. Cheers. Mike.
@derekemrie2987 Жыл бұрын
Simple is good, it's memorable, not too tough to learn (and repeat). Not muchj of a guitarist myself (more keyboard, etc.), but some of my favorit guitar solo's are not terribly complicated, just driven so hard by the player that it totally rounds the song out. Not a fan of fan of super speed playing, to me it's all about FEELING, how do you convey a feeling at super human speeds (Brian was certainly capable of "shredding", but it always added to the song, not just some mindless appregios for the sake of speed. My two cents, adjusted for inflation, more like a dollar or more, since that phrase is how old?
