"If it's good enough for Dimebag, it's definitely good enough for me." Truer words will never be spoken.

One of the best vids on this topic. All it would need is a chart of the fretboard to illustrate what you're saying and it'd be perfect.

Great video. I've already watched about 3 videos about harmonies and haven't even understood a part of what I learned in this video. Especially the Dimebag technic helped me out a lot

Fab. Certainly Steve Harris said his influence for this stuff came from Wishbone Ash. Another great twin guitar band is Stryper. That early stuff has some great diatonic runs in it.

Mr Nick, I checked out your band grim reaper and found a video of you guys in 87 playing in Minnesota. Your playing was really good and the overall sound was great for a live performance. How did you get that tone live and what type of gear were you using? Maybe you could make a video and re create that with modern gear. I don’t really like metal in fact once GnR hit the scene I never listened to metal again. However, that tone you had captivated my attention.

Hi...Brilliant work! Just curious but would you have any idea Which Thin Lizzy riffs follow this rule as I analysed "The boys are back in town" and there are not many 3rd intervals in it. It looks like it is mainly a fifth below.

So it's pretty much just c major over a minor?

A minor is the relative minor of C major. It works that way with all scales.

Dumb question maybe, but.would this work if you just jumped up 3 frets and did the same finger patterns? Asking for a friend.
