C#Maj7(9)? I know it's a little thing, but DbMaj7(9) makes much more sense in the context of all the rest of the chords. Otherwise, great job!

You explain very well the song, saddly there's a lack of content on it, you don't explain almost nothing after the piano intro, the sax part also doesn't appear here. I would love to see a second part of the full melody on your channel, beacuse you really explain it very well and I think you have the best only piano video of the song on youtube.

what is great, is not the two of us tutorial, what is great is all the notes / riff you play between 2 chords. Your improvisation skills are amazing......Thumbs up + subscriber of course :)

So you say what chords i must play yet when you play them you add extra notes
@fkeyzuwu6 жыл бұрын
jazz is all about imporvization, people give you the general way to play a song, with chord names and you can choose what other notes you want to play that can fit in that chord or leave some of them off. its very common.

Hi! Nice tutorial I was just wondering about one chord, which I think is missing from this video. In the chorus I can hear a chromatic bass line from Fm to Ebm, and what I am looking for is the chord in the middle. The bass note is E, while the keyboard plays the notes B and Db (and Bill is singing an Eb..), at least that's what I think I hear. Most sheet and chord-pages I've found have listed Em7 as the passing chord, but that doesn't sound right, to me at least. Can you help me? :)

+Piano Couture i think what he means is to play through the entire piece before you break it down note for note. For the more advanced, watching you play will fill in the key parts. I just fast forward to 09:45 and then Voila!
