Lao/ Khameleon main. Sacrificed the low mixup combos for more damage/optimal mid screen/corner combos with the addition of having a throw combo on top of that. Never looked back since.

Imma bout to give up on KL...I feel like his combo strings are so tight compared to other characters like Raiden where you can mis hit the opponent amd still complete the kombo🤦‍♂️

I feel this tbh!!! After a lot of practice I got a bit better but his combos are really easy to drop online imo. Netcode is bad as it is, I’d say look at the gravity and if you can tell they’re getting low to the ground don’t commit to his bf2 ender as that happened to me a lot where it drops at the end so I’ll just do the 12/121 string w/o ender.

Okay uhm… there are a lot more combo paths with Kung Lao. In the corner, his optimals often have two B24. There's also the Goro sandwich mid-screen. But yes, Kung Lao is probably second (after Johnny Cage) at rush down. Other kameo options are Ferra, Khameleon, Sareena (obv), Scorpion, Subzero, Frost, Mavado, and Sonya.
