This is great. Thanks for posting. Have you made any tablature for this? It would be amazing!

Hey thanks for posting this. I've been working on your other version, but nothing really beats Eliades, so thanks again.

Hello and thank you for this tuning! May I ask you what is the name of that technique you use at about 53 seconds (when you quickly play a series of notes) and how to learn it? it is very difficult for me! Thanks and happy new year!

Hello, That is called a hammer on-pull off where you pick the string just once and play three notes in quick succession just with your fingers hitting the string and coming off again. At 1:35 you can see it slower, although I probably should have explained it better in the tutorial. It’s a pretty standard technique used with most stringed instruments. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching! I’m glad you find my videos useful. Greetings from Canada! Cheers.

I have quite an interest in this channel, there is always great content when it comes to cuban music. Perhaps you could be the right person to help me out with something: theres a documentary called «cigars: the heart and soul of cuba». If you have seen it, could you name the soundtrack used in that same documentary? If you haven't watched it, then it's okay! Just keep posting great content! :)

Miguel Thanks so much! I'm glad you're enjoying my videos. Yes, I'm very familiar with that Cuban Cigar video, I've seen it many times. I just watched it again trying to identify some of the artists featured in the background music. It's all fairly rural-style Cuban Son music however I can't put my finger on specific players...some sound like they're field recordings, like the producers recorded musicians on the street and included that in the background. I can't be sure of that though. If you're looking for recordings similar to the ones featured in this video I can recommend about 100 different albums if you're interested. You can email me directly and I'll give you a laundry list of suggestions. My email is: canadiantresero@gmail.com. Thanks again! Cheers.

what tuning did you use
@TresCubano6 жыл бұрын
Hi, It depends on how the player in the song is tuned, for this one it's standard C (GCE). I always mention the tuning in the description. Cheers.
