Hey, dude. The terrain actually comes with the core box. I don't know what paints he used but you can quickly get them looking good and table ready with the Citadel contrast paints.

So...the X-Men comming to that game finally sparked my interest towards it, even if I've seen it before on your channel. However there is no real community for the game around me and I was wondering do you think the game can be fun if played as a mission either co-op versus game master or team versus team with multiple player. Perhaps every player taking control of 1 or 2 characters(depending on number of players and threat level)? Are the characters fun to play on their own or the game gets the fun from forming a team and playing with it? Because I definately can have friends over and us play a few missions with either a game master controlling the bad guys or let's say threat ends up as 4v4 so 2 people controlling 2 characters per team(so a 2v2 match) or if threat is low enough everyone controling 1 character etc. But since theese minis are super expensive I guess I can do something similar with HeroClix. So yeah do you think such a way of playing can be fun or the game is not well suited for it(like you can't really play Warhammer with people controlling singular units of an army)? This question is for everyone reading, not just Crabbok as the video is a year old, I'm hoping someone(anyone) see it and offers some insight on that.

Just a few corrections to the throw section: 1. Thrown characters are measured from their own base, thrown terrain from the throwing character 2. Strange choice to use Spiderman as throw target, then not use the rerolls he gets against throws 3. You might want to add that the thrown character always takes that one damage, no defensive roll involved Otherwise great video, thanks a lot!

I'm sold. I'm getting this game. What's a good starting point after the core characters?
@JohnnyLeyenda4 жыл бұрын
After the core game you'd probably want to get some characters with Mystic attacks. Or with new affiliations to spread your choice and tactics. I have all the characters released so far, and my main advice is: Get the characters you like. Honestly, it's the best way to play (at the very least in terms of fun). However, if you want some strong choices, MODOK, Thor, Shuri, and Corvus Glaive are very strong currently. I'd skip the terrain packs (they are very expensive and you can get die cast vehicles, MDF buildings or even papercraft ones for much cheaper), that lets you get more characters but you still want a nice table with varied terrain. Another tip, you can see in the back of the boxes the characters that have "Crisis cards", these are the objective cards so you can get these if you want more variety regarding missions. All in all, the best way to get into the game is the core and get some games in, from there you can see maybe what you're lacking in team compositions or what you would like.

Double check but I believe "push" is a type of movement not a direction in this game. some pushes give a direction "away" "toward" but if no then the push can be in any direction. Core rule says treat pushes exactly like throws but with out collision damage. Over all great just on video flow and lay out

Different styles. This is X-Wing where Legion is Armada. This is more about the individual and a quick(er) skirmish style fight. Where Legion is more of a full scale war/battle. Both have there pros. I personally have both and would play either for different reasons. Think it comes down to are you more a marvel fan than a Star Wars fan.
