Designed by Rees Jones and Bill Bergin, McLemore's Highlands Course features 3 different types of architectural styles, Canyon, Parkland, and of course, Highlands. The property offers opportunities to create stunning golf holes, without moving much earth.
What makes the Highlands Course at McLemore so special is 3 to 4 different holes could arguably be the signature hole at any other golf course. But what makes the Highlands Course special is the 18th hole. Found an designed by Bill Bergin, McLemore's 18th hole is ranked as the world's #10 finishing hole by Links Magazine. It is a climb of nearly 50 feet from tee to green, with the edge of McLemore Cove being ever present to the left of hole. A score of par on the hole will always be remembered, as well as the rest of your round at McLemore's Highlands Course.

#2 "Ample opportunity for birdie" This hole is the #1 HCP for a reason. If you don't perfecly fade your driver off the tee and simply hit it straight and short of the water, the leave is about 170 to a narrow green. a faded bomb from the II or III tees leaves 145 to a narrow green with trouble everywhere but long and right. I'm a 15HCP who has played McLemore a dozen times and have birdied or parred every hole but #2. I would in no way call it an Ample Birdie opportunity.
