Do most of you know the song "Aint no Sunshine when she's gone" by Bill Withers? Supposedly, when he sings the words "long" and "home," that is D minor. But then why does it sound different from the chord this guitarist played? I watched Withers' finger positions too. Why is there a difference?

I hate these commercials that play before the video. "There is one thing that will determine weather you will be a great guitarist or not. Sticking with it." I dont buy that notion. The number one thing is weather you were born with the potential to be a great musician. Same with football, medical school ect. Either your in or out of place where you are. I could never learn to be a great skateboarder regardless of how many hours, days or weeks i practice. I wasnt born with good balance. The next guy will be doing tricks in a couple days. My friend was a great artist in gradeschool. He turned out to be a commercial artist. None of the other kids could do what he could as easily as he did.

I am of the belief that anyone can do anything if they have one thing. DESIRE. I was an artist for a graphics company for a few years and can still draw just fine, but I did not have the desire to do so, so I stopped. I do not believe that I had natural talent as a musician because I have friends who could play music without effort, but it was always hard for me. One day after seeing and hearing the Beatles I decided that I was going to be a musician if it killed me. Since that day my DESIRE has brought me here. Music is ALL that I do. I have tiny fingers, just find a guitar with a thin c neck profile and put your thumb behind the neck instead of on top, i can do pretty decent moves with that method
