If they damage of battle isn't equal or greater, it doesn't win the battle. But how much damage carries over. Like if you hit with a 6 sided dice, does it do 6 damage or is it just one attack so 1 damage?

I was a heavy Neopets player for 15+ years but fell off some years ago. I play MTG and when I heard about this I wanted to give it a try. Just ordered the starter decks and I’m looking forward to getting a taste of it!

When choosing a neopet from the pet deck or rainbow deck, do you get to look at and choose, or is it just whatever is on top?

There are cards that say to "Search your deck for X". It does not explicitly state to shuffle after, and I cannot find anything in the rules about it. Does anyone know, if you shuffle your deck after searching through it?

hi, in yugioh you always have to shuffle it after searching for a card, so i imagine it is the same here!

I played it for the first time tonight I do not believe there is a limit to how many cards you can have in your hand at one time.

Always just 1 damage. The dice are just used as a pass/fail system basically. 1,2, and 3 are considered fails. 4, 5, and 6(critical) are considered a successful attack/defend.

Looking forward to the idea of this game, but oof this could’ve used more support and flare. Would’ve liked something less battle focused for Neopets IP, like Lorcana or the MLP card game, but looks fun!

It doesn't seem that complicated compared to Magic or Yugioh, tbh. My worry is that it won't be able to convert non Neopets players. I hope the game does well but I don't know how strong of an IP it is. I assume UD already did the market research and feels confident though, so I am hopeful at least. Going to come back to this video in two years and see if it beat the usual curse.

It depends on how much experience you have in TCGs. I can see if someone is new how this will be complicated.

If it's complicated I'm sure it will pull in non neopet players. If it's very linear I wont play. I like neopets but I'm also not 7 anymore.

How is this complicated? The elements are nearly 1:1 with pokemon, just renamed (Faerie = Stadium, Legend = Trainer, Codestone = Energy, etc) The rules could use some clarification, and some of the card text is extremely ambiguous, but having played a couple games of this so far it seems just as easy to pick up with just as much room for strategizing as any other popular TCG.
