I've read that this game and Gun Valkyrie (maybe others but idk) don't (normally) function in 480P on the newer original xbox's, model 1.6 and 1.6b, 2005 models. Because in the latest model, Microsoft changed the video encoder which disrupted how some games like this work.

It’s true. Mine is an older type. But it works with this work around. It’s the only way to get it to play in 480p. If you don’t do what I show it’s just a scrambled mess.

Joshua Wick on Xbox one it actually looks really good. I haven’t tried it myself so I don’t know how it actually runs, but from videos I’ve seen it looks damn good

Interesting I might try this using my CRT TV and composite cable for the first playthrough to unlock Panzer Dragoon. I just don't like using the CRT TV as it's 13 inch screen is too small to enjoy gaming on long. I have a 1.6 Xbox but looking to get a older version for collecting just for the heck of it. I normally use a Xbox2hdmi adapter that is good as well as the mClassic but of course Panzer Dragoon is on of the few games 1.6 Xbox had issues with. Would be cool to play at least once on my HDTV after unlocking Panzer Dragoon. Panzer Dragoon Orta is a game I just got but was and actually still am planning on playing on my Xbox One X first for the story. Still for original hardware I will give this a try to get at least one playthrough on my og Xbox
