How do u play the transition from the 9th verse to the 10th verse? Cause it’s played differently (or it’s just not shown) in the video compared to the notes.. shouldn’t you play h,a,g twice in a row according to the sheet?
@glynnbayliss515626 күн бұрын
@@Battleangel_xo I've having the same dilemma with 9 & 10. I couldn't combine her base line with the lead because she doesn't play the lower G until after the last lead G in 10. I ended up making bars 9 & 10 just like 1 & 2, but with the descending notes in 9.

I learned piano along time ago and started lessons when I was 13 yrs old. I had the sweetest old lady as a teacher. I believe some people are born with a gift to be Extraordinary teachers. You have the best tutorials, and have made me fall in love with piano again. I should have never stopped. Actually just ordered a new casio key board that should be arriving today. I want to thank you sincerely for lighting this passion up for me again. You are amazing 👍

Could you give me the left hand note?
@PianoteOfficial5 жыл бұрын
The left-hand notes are arpeggios of the chords. So for a G chord the notes are G-B-D-G-D-B up and down. And then it's the same for ever chord

That part at 6:16 to 6:49 about how to use "shells of chords" was just amazing and eye-opening to me. I don't think there's any piano teacher on KZbin who simplifies piano concepts as well as you do, Lisa. Amazing job as always.
@olamideogunwale2956 Жыл бұрын
I don't get the shell of chords. Could you explain a little better please?
@tfmarketing12 Жыл бұрын
@Olamide Ogunwale Shells of Chords: You just do the "outside" keys of a triad, to make it simpler. Like for example C-major triad would normally be C-E-F, but you can just do C-F to simplify it. Same with G-major triad which would use 3 fingers to play G-B-D at the same time... but you can just do G-D (skipping the middle key B). In that sense you're just doing the "shell" of the triad, skipping the middle key/note and just playing the "outer" notes of the triad instead. If you look at the way Lisa hits the keys from 6:16 to 6:49 you'll see she just hits the outer notes of the triad/chord during that section (instead of the 3 notes in the chord she was doing before), and it still sounds good. So it's a good way for beginners to simplify things. Hope that helps.
