When I was a kid, we passed the Master Stick around each turn, for some reason.

Sorry but the way you're using the black stick makes no sense, might as well end the game once anyone retrieves the back stick. If you were to lose your turn once you move another stick even using the black stick would make more sense. On the video you show the black stick moving all the sticks carelessly which makes no sense.

@@Dedric444 I agree, you might as well end the game, the master stick should lose a turn if they disturb the others.

how many sticks are you allowed to move with the master stick?

Huh, the way we used to play this was everyone had their own personal master stick that could only move one other stick

That's not how we use the master stick. It just has more points. But we use any other stick to help flick a sticks off without the others moving. Also, we don't allow reshuffling of the sticks meaning the 1st player (usually the previous winner) will be the one scattering the sticks (and the bottom end should be touching the surface, not release from the air). Everyone else has to work with whatever the positions of the sticks are. Otherwise, where's the challenge?

Excellent - very clear and easy to follow instructions. Do you happen to know if the rules differ for younger players - say 3 - 5 year olds?

So getting the master stick just means you win 100% guaranteed? Cause using it you should be able to pick up every single stick 100% safely. I guess since you redo the board after picking every stick up, it just becomes a game of "Who can get the master stick the most times in a row?" or something?
@DavidLeeKersey
@DavidLeeKersey 2 жыл бұрын
The way we played it was you kept the black stick out of the pile and had to use it to pick up the others and none of this moving other sticks around with it. So it got passes from player to player as you took turns.
@FelixWatts
@FelixWatts 2 жыл бұрын
Agreed. This master stick rule cannot be right. It probably means that you are allowed to use the master stick to help you but you are still not allowed to touch or move any stick other than the one you are picking up.

The black stick is OP. Doesn't that mean you basically get the whole stack since you can just seperate all the sti ks with no risk of losing?

There is so much details to simplify and separate time lines eventually of, simply it will take awhile to know how our own limits had to patient and close enough in order to place, and grade experience style with worth of skill. as goal language generosity yuppotentialed. Inter approximate tellegence and honest refinesty dis equally open to recooperate as a close call therefore persettling only a way to be currently befairing regardable and course guiding through out it's game history. Great way to keep learning and graduating. I can work with others in trying simplify what to say in each attention to detail. Make the most of insight and sight touch sound.💯

You used the master stick to move many of the other sticks around at once, I don't think that's correct. I think you can use the master stick but you have to do it without disturbing the rest of the pile, just the one stick you're trying to remove

honestly, the different amount of points make it unbalanced because of the randomness. id rather play with 1 point for each stick.

It's not clear from this explanation whether you can pick up more than one stick in one turn. I've looked up the rules and you can. You keep going till you mess up. Then it's the next persons turn.
