Hey droodles, i just wanna say thank u for these tutorials, your rlly helped me alot. I've been a 46% in my past 1500 games when it was still the pandemic but after watching almost all of your vids i now have 4,600 battles with 53.21% winrate and still plan on going upwards. I usually play TD and rarely use the other 2 positions as the shell velocity and accuracy is mostly not good enough against moving MT/LTs due to distance but will try later. Majority of the Port Bay games I played though..were decided by MT/LTs across the river as they are the ones farming the heavies before the other team can push.

Nice video just want to add: 1) If you get the south spawn PLEASE push over the ridge. One of the biggest mistakes is trying to work that ridge, but that essentially gives up all map control. 2) If you’re in a light tank you can actually get on top of the north “sniping” or that small upper area next to base C completely solo. From there you get really good vantage to the medium tanks and you can punish over aggressive heavies.

The medium route across the river is just frustrating. I've had some really good battles from there, but it seems to come down to luck in how your team positions, and more often than not my medium battles going there become a struggle. You have to commit to it immediately to get there without getting hit (or at least not get hit more than once), and then half the time you don't get team support. There's also only one little hill to hide behind if you're suddenly outnumbered in front, you can't really back up because the heavies and TDs smash you if you do. I like seeing in the video that that the medium role isn't strictly held to that route (I've seen other videos that stated that as the case), so at least I won't feel as bad if I don't head right over there. Thanks for the video, hope you make more like it.

I have to agree with your observation with the skill of the average WoTB player going negative (not to brag, but I my E75 TS WR went from 70 to 58 and my overall WR went from 70 to 69). Also commenting to ask for a AMX 13 75 review; It has a 1.3 second intraclip AND shell reload boost, allowing you to deal 480 damage in around 2 seconds. Keep up the great content!

Amx 13 75 is if you take an annihilator and put it in a light tank. (0.9 sec inteaclip with the booster) it’s an amazing tank, very fun to play and definitely deserves a video.

I really struggle to readlineouts and decise on the initial position I should take, that happens on so many maps.... Videos like this one helped me a lot in Port Bay. Most times I convinces my team to go C and take our mediums to control the far corner we end up winning. Thanks a lot for the vid mate! Keep'em coming!

Very nice Droodles. Maybe we might see a change from most players going city on this map. I think most do not know how to use terrain to their advantage. I find it’s the same on all maps…. Everyone goes city for cover.

I am waiting for more tutorials about positioning on the map. I play on the EU server and here the mixing with the RU server destroyed the game to the point where the chat was also removed to avoid the frustration of the players with harsh words brought to the Russian-speaking players, the majority of whom are 90% Ukrainian. I don't understand why in each match we have up to 3-5 AFK players in both teams who keep coming in, but actually don't play (I met them in 2-3 consecutive matches when there are few players). I look forward to more tutorials, keep up the good work.

Can you do this type of map training for new bay, my teams always go heavy side and lose when they can hulldown at bridge and it gets me irritated. Also I struggle a bit with holding positions well on that map so a video on it would be great!

Thanks. Great stuff. Just one issue - what if you are playing in the heavy and 2-3 heavies from your team decide to go town. Left them there or support? The problem with "not go to the town" on majority of maps is that your team already doing that and there is nothing to stop them. Sometimes even mediums are going to town as well and you look kind a stupid when trying to go to C alone... ;)

What I feel port bay and few maps still need that they dont have proper TD or defensive positions to cover in old maps, there one to cover town but not a proper one over C side unless getting poke and spotted constantly as most tds dont have great camos or gun dep.

As you show that map ,I had a team start in red cap today, an all tier 8 game.....2 heavies and our td went town and both our meds didn't cross the river to set up our crossfire on c. Before the battle had started I had highlighted to go c direction and asked my meds " meds cross please", any tips on rearguard action on a map where 5 clueless Russians regularly ruin the gaming experience on this map? All 5 were in the 44 to 49% winrate category and I don't think they'll ever change their losing mentality! My other teammate like me was frustrated too being a 55% winrate player ( I'm 53.25%). Wargaming refuse to discuss matchmaking and the negative effect of RU players ruining games and stats on the EU server.

He has made it simple, i wish nubs would also consider that playing this map is this simple. Heavies most of the time are the most useless players in the battle and generally rush to A and B area while meds and TDs then have to work against over whelming force.

Always disappointing to see people go town on this map. What do you think is the best play if your team splits up? Sort of an applicable question for any map. Say 1 or 2 people go to C but the rest go to A. Should I stick with the majority and go A or go to the more optimal spot but risk getting overwhelmed by a larger number of enemies?
