its a great video.... but something is wrong. the very 1st Chord you said was an Eb Major 7, but in my chord book its a Eb Minor 9 on the left. With the Gb being the flat 7 of Ab scale.... and when you did the 1-3-5-7 starting on the Gb, thats the 1-3-5-7 of Gb but not of Eb nor Ab... so it may confuse a beginner. because if your in the key of Ab your theory should be in Ab. example... your Gb-Eb-Db-F should have been b7-2-4-6 relative to Ab. Im not even saying that your wrong... but the chords you named Eb Major 7 is not even in Gb or F# chords.... so if you throw out numbers it should be associated with the current key that you are in which is Ab and you are mixing different keys together which is awesome... either your teaching theory or your teaching by memory... if the person don't know theory you through out the wrong name of the chord it will always be wrong in their head.... its more than one way to play preacher chords.... its more than one way to do everything in music... this sounds awesome.... but I would have given them the easy way first then take them to the harder type chords.... the progression is 1-3-4-b5-5 right hand chords can be Ab Minor 1st inv, C dim, Db major, E dim, Db major over Eb in the bass, this is the most basic preacher chords which is always Ab 1st inversion so your finger pivot on the Ab and it makes it easier to play faster especially when that preaching turns into a shout.... your video is great but these are some big chords for beginners.... do you have the same tutorial in the same key using an easier method?

practice your scales and be familiar with terminology and what it mean to play in a different key and you should know the keys by heart that will make it easy when learning chords and then just practice the chords over and over!!!!!
