We're not affiliated with any piano manufacturer and don't receive any kickback by suggesting a certain brand, but we can say anecdotally that there are two models that are relatively affordable and well suit a beginning pianist. Casio Privia PX-160 g.co/kgs/Zj6CFb or Yamaha P-125 (or P-115): g.co/kgs/AQ816s The goal should be to find something that has built-in speakers, weighted action, and a nice piano sound (we find that the fewer bells and whistles a digital piano has, the better its piano sound).
